Wooden fence around a tiny cultivated island near Don Loppadi (Si Phan Don - 4000 islands, Laos), with a couple working at golden hour. The fence is a protection to prevent intruders from cultivating the same land. This small ground certainly doesn't belong to anyone officially, or the owner just doesn't care. Since this tiny island is totally submerged during the monsoon, the first locals who decide to settle there after the recession of the Mekong need to give a clear signal to the neighborhood that the domain is not available anymore.
