Miscellaneous (Plants, objects, structures, sculptures...)

Photography

My practice of photography intensified in 2017 after years of enthusiast experience.

One of my favorite accessories is an ordinary tripod, quite simply because it allows you to take long exposures to capture a maximum of photons in low light conditions, and so to deliver details that are often indistinguishable by the eye.

When traveling, I usually go with a heavy load in my backpack, in order to have on hand the optical system perfectly compatible with the subject to capture.

For plants, objects and structures, I am particularly sensitive to light when it is subtle and revealing vibrant colors. Composition is also important to me. One of my major concerns is sometimes to communicate the mood. I like unusual subjects, and what can constitute an abstract image. The places I photograph are mainly located in Laos, where I live, in Japan and Singapore.
