The "Kimono Forest" at night, a collection of nearly 600 kimono gowns wrapped around and sealed in poles with LED lighting inside, Arashiyama Station (Keifuku), Arashiyama,
Kyoto,
Japan, decoration project developed by the designer Yasumichi Morita, CEO of
GLAMOROUS co., ltd. The "Kimono Forest" consists of pieces of textile dyed in the Kyo-yuzen style,
covered and sealed with acrylic fiber and shaped like 2-meter tall cylindrical poles installed around the station and the railway tracks.
